EXOTIC FLAVOURS / VIETNAMESE-CAMBODIAN CUISINE – 08 October 2018

Vietnamese/Cambodian- Khmer – cuisine are not complex. Traditional cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients.

With the balance between fresh herbs / vegetables and  selective use of spices to reach a fine taste, Vietnamese food is  considered one of the healthiest cuisines worldwide.

I planed the most authentic Vietnamese/Cambodian dishes, like; Pho, a chicken/beef salty broth with fresh rice noodles & herbs.

Banh xeo – happy pancakes – is a crispy crepe bulging  with pork, shrimp and bean sprouts, plus the garnish of fresh herbs.

Bi cuon/Goi cuon…fresh spring rolls dunked in condiment fish sauce.

Our last course was a delicious  Cambodian khaki/persimmon cake.
